About eds.com: RSS Feeds

The latest EDS news and announcements are available through RSS feeds. If you do not already have an RSS compatible reader installed, simply right click on the link to each feed, click on the Properties option and copy/paste the URL into an RSS subscription service of your choice.

If you are new to RSS, please read below for some basic guidelines.

What is RSS?
Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a way for EDS to syndicate our news and other timely information in an XML format. Clients and readers can click on our RSS feeds (below) and subscribe to them. Our content is then automatically pushed to feed readers and other syndication services that members of our audience can subscribe to.

If you have not signed up for a syndication service, here are a few services to choose from – bloglines.com and My Yahoo!. Both are free and easy to use.

What is a Blog?
A Web log (blog) is an online personal journal that expresses personal opinions and interests.

A Corporate blog is published with the support of an organization and serves as a relationship builder and communication tool for the company.

EDS promotes a corporate blog called “The Next Big Thing Blog” that is run by the EDS Fellows.
